it all started with a bunny

It's a silly story, but years back my sister “egged” me by putting a bunch of plastic eggs with bunnies in them in my bag. It became a running joke that I would send her photos of these bunnies doing various things.

“Espresso” quickly became the favorite with frequent stories being coffee focused. We started with drip, went to pour over, graduated to a simple espresso machine, and then upgraded over the years.

Espresso is just as much an art as it is a science, and can be quite frustrating to newcomers and experts alike. It is my goal here to demystify espresso, both the science and the art, and create a community to help each other grow and hone our skills with advice a little better than “grind finer”.
